Kate is currently working as a Kitchen & Bath Designer at Norfolk Kitchen & Bath in Framingham, MA, For over 90 years, Norfolk, a large family owned company, has become the number one Kitchen & Bath Company in New England with over six showrooms spanning Massachusetts and New Hampshire.. Kate has grown into one of their top designers and sales performers. Kate merges her prior experience in customer service with expertise in contemporary design as she works closely with clients bringing their dreams to life, enhancing their homes. She believes the value of good design is priceless because it can shape and uplift spirits with timeless memories of family, beauty and serenity. She is currently working on obtaining her CKBD from the NKBA. Kate lives in Hopkinton with her husband and twin boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets. She loves tennis, knitting, foreign travel and reading about the latest trends in interior design. 

Background Experience:  Raised in a scenic location nestled in the mountains of northern Vermont, early on Kate developed an artistic sensibility for homes connected to their natural environment. After earning her B.A in Art History & Architectural studies at Tufts University In 1996, her passion for design first found its expression as a computer game artist for many years.  Later, after obtaining her M.A. in psychology (2005), Kate found success designing and selling custom walk in closets and cabinetry in the home renovation industry. Certified in Kitchen & Bath design in 2022, Kate has worked for Great Spaces Inc., and Kitchen Visions, both award winning companies on Houzz.com in the Boston Area. Kitchen Visions was awarded best in Kitchen & Bath Design in Boston by Boston Magazine in 2022.
